Sturgis???

Gra53 do you mean the buffalo chip? If so its call the Da Bus and suppose to be pretty good to get you back and forth. Couple things to remember is have eye protection at all times its the law out there and they will bag you big time for it. At night has to be clear or those yellow ones. Not tinted shields at night. Be careful of drinking and riding they cracked down big time last year. Word was over 20 people arrested the first night of rally last year for DUI... If you want to take a pic at the sign best time is early am when there isn't a crowd or the week before is when I did mine. Last time I tried during rally there was way to many people there blocking it.
 
Everyone that is going to be in Sturgis say Friday the 3rd do you guys want to put a ride together? Meet some where and take a blast through the hills? Would really freak people out if they see a bunch of rockets together. I get comments all the time out there about mine. We could even hit up the triumph trailer if they are open by then... If its the same reps as last year they know me and my bike and I am sure they will be wondering what I did to it now.. LOL
 
I'll arrive on the 29th. First time I've been. I'd like to do a ride maybe on 30th.

I am up for a ride the 30th and any other day that week. I am out there solo so I am always looking for people to ride with... If you have any sights you want to see out there let me know. I pretty much know my way around out there half way decently... Hit Iron mountain road and Needles highway early pre rally as there is less traffic and way more enjoyable!

Sturgis During Rally Week

It's a little over a month away and we are looking forward to another fun time during Rally week. We have been going out during Rally week the past few years and have a great time staying at the KOA in Rapid City. The primary attaction to Rally's are the extra people and activities and the Strugis area provides plenty of both. We balance the added congestion by popping in and out of Sturgis a few times during the week to catch some of the festivities. Otherwise, the majority of our time is spent seeing the sights and riding the great roads where there are plenty of opportunities to open it up a little if you choose... We look forward to getting together for a ride with fellow Rocket riders during Rally week!
