Got back from Sturgis two days ago - 4500 miles and 13 states in 12 days. Only problem we had was with (you guessed it!) a 2011 Harley Street Glide. Lost all of his lights. Took it to the Harley dealership in Rapid City, SD, and they told him that he shouldn't ride it in the rain. He is looking for a good used, late model Rocket now. When we got on I-90 in SD where we could "stretch them out," I made a believer out of him. (And I was pulling a trailer!)

it was a great time glad you made it home safe I have started to update my travel blog with pics only have the first couple of days completed so far but adding to it daily ... if you are interested give it a read and leave a comment if you like.... keep in mind the wife still has to proof read and fix the grammar and spelling mistakes.

I did 3300 miles 54 hours and 15 min in the saddle
trip out and back was 2600 and we rode about 700 while I was there special thanks to Wild willie for hosting us... I was also good to see Oscar and his family.
