She won't go..!!!

Looking for advice on where to look first.
Picked the X up last Friday night after getting a new front tire up front, started fine whilst loading on the trailer. Took it off Saturday, started ok with no issues.
Gave it a quick wash Sunday ready for a ride, went to start it and this is what's happening.
- Turn the key on and there is a delay in the usual start sequence.
- Can hear a constant ticking sound down low sometimes and cannot start.
- Sometimes the usual start sequence happens, go to start and motor clicks once and drops out. Start sequence will initiate again with the same outcome.

I have had the battery checked battery power and it tested ok.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Terminals & cable lugs have been cleaned up with Emery Paper.

What do you mean by "motor clicks once and drops out" mate?...does turn over like it's trying to start? Or does it actually click like a relay switching?

Goes to turn over and drops out. More than a just a relay click.

Does it have an immobiliser?

First thing I'd do is load test the battery and measure the current drop on turn over...sounds to me like it's not getting enough juice or you've got a dodgy relay or some such

Load test was done on the battery, but not on start up.
Forgot to mention that it jump starts OK.
Everything points to the battery, but tests on it says otherwise.

No immobiliser fitted.

If jump starting is good, then battery must be bad.
