She won't go..!!!

if your relays r upside down then they will fill with water and will not work very good.:(

My wife pulled the seat off for me this morning (I'm at work) and reported a fair amount of water sitting on and around the toolkit. I'm hoping my dumb****tery didn't do any real damage. Will find out when I get home.

i do not wash mine very often but when i do i use the water hose with nozzle and spray it good and i have never had a problem. of coarse i knock on wood when i say this.
i also have the relays held upright with plastic ties.
there will be 5 guys that will tell u not to do that and they r probably right.

Same behavior when I got home. Disconnected the battery, checked every fuse, pulled and re-seated every relay. Hooked the battery back up, same behavior the first time I turned on the ignition. Turned it off, swore like a sailor and turned it back on, and the ****ed thing fired right up. At this point I'm pretty sure the vile cursing is what did the trick.

The check engine light is stuck on now though. I have a TuneECU cable arriving tomorrow. Hopefully I can clear it. Thanks all for the input!

And let us know what TuneEcu comes up with.

Got my cable. The fault is showing as 'P1698 - Sensor supply battery circuit malfunction'. I'm wondering if this is related to my pulling the battery and whatnot. Think it's safe to clear and carry on with my day?

So I cleared the fault anyway and went out cruising for a while. The check engine light stayed off so I think I'm good to go.

Certainly hope so. Thank you for sharing, and please keep us posted.

Remember, a definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So would be good to change something in your regime so as to avoid this next time.
