Rockets Across America VI

Lonnie & Mindy made it home safe and without incident, got home about 2 pm after staying the night in Conway, Ar. with Skip. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again. A big thanks to Steve and Katie for all the leg work and I enjoyed meeting friends both old and new. FALL IS COMING, WHERE WILL WE BE????????????:)

Lupe,

My back tire is a Bridgestone Excedra 240 55 16.
I love it so far it already has over 5000 miles on it and it still looks real good, thats more miles than I ever got from a Metz.

Have thought about that one myself - it's what they put on a C109, right? Just a bit taller. I like the tread pattern too. Have you checked how much speedo correction it provides as well? Might give it a go after this Avon wears out - although the way it's going that could be some time.

Thanks to Skip, Lonnie and Kim for letting me ride with you guys through to Jackson, as soon as we left the group we never did see rain again.

Annie and I made it back home to the flatlands around 6 tonight, I asked her if she wanted to go for a ride tomorrow and got one of those go to hell looks? She never did complain the whole 1,000 miles back!

We enjoyed ourselves, Thanks to everyone for making it a great event!

Beautiful country, fantastic twisties and Great People, what more could you ask for?

Glad to hear that you two made it back home safely. I see you made it alittle further than Little Rock, which made todays ride not too far. Also the weather was alot nicer than the ride yesterday.

Also good to hear that Skip and Doogie made their trips back home safely also.
