Some of those people knew what to expect. It was done to their families back in 1927. Back then they had little warning.
That doesnt make it any better but at least they were warned this time.

I know it's supposed to be for the greater good and all that but it's still has to hard to know someone is going to flip a switch (on purpose) and wash away everything you own.

Those are some tough M*****F*****s down there. They live in a really tough area. Critters trying to bite or eat you all the time. Mosquito's that can drive a delivery truck, etc.
