Hey Jess, I used the Western Ky Parkway. A lot of new blacktop, smooth ride.
Then I stoped in Union City Tues night. Wendsay I kinda took State Routes
62, 65 and 412 west. Found a new pair of Red Wings for $30.00 at a boot outlet.
Met a cool dude named Bret who is the arkrider.com. He takes pictures of bikes and cars at these events. There was a Ferrari meet on Fri in the canyon. He needed
to check routes and find places to shoot pics from on Thursday and invited me along.
This was the first joy ride through the canyon. I was very lucky to meet this guy.
He knew a lot about the area, its history and more. We ate at a cool spot in Jasper, and then he showed me where the Elk were. The rest of the time was just as good,
for we all had a great leader. He did an excelent job at scoping things out, gas and food, and I think I better stop talking about him. People will loose interest in my documentary. Anyway, THANKS TO THE GROUP FOR A GREAT TIME.
Also, there is no need for anyone to post if they called the hub. I don't care who did or
didn't. I asked about a group discount and Randel ( and I ) both laughed. Thats when he informed me of the problem. I'm just asking for the man to be treated fair.

Rarely use a home computer anymore.

I finally made it home at 9:50 am this morning after leaving Vicksburg, MS at 4:45 am.
I had a great time even though I was only able to make it up for less than a day but the company was excellent, got a few useful tips...rode a Can Am Spyder and was able to reaffirm my goal on losing some weigth...all this home cooking and traveling (in car, motorcycle or truck) isn't very conductive to losing any weight.
It was good to finally put some names to faces...so far it appears everyone made it home safe...can't ask for more than that.
