Rockets Across America VI

Adrienne and I arrived home last night to 42 deg. and rain (glad we trailered).

What a great group!
Many thanks to all who made this happen.:bch:
Count us in for next year!

I'm glad to see all made it there and back in one piece, I'm such an ******* for not going. I'd be just coming home now (wet) and the wife might be glad to see me. Instead I've been here the whole time listening to her gloom and doom bull**** and watching her pound the liquor and berate me for the dumbest ****.

I sure wish some of you guys were closer so I would have someone to visit, I've got to get out of this house for a few days. I'm kicking my self for not just riding in the weather and getting away.

Nolton, quiet is good ... the old saying about appearances and removing doubt with an open mouth is an excellent way to live (typing doesn't count does it?) lol.

**** I'm sorry I didn't just go, be sure to let me in on anything else that might be going on around Delaware/Maryland/Philly. I could sure use an excuse to get away from the wife.

Again, good to see you guys getting home safe, hope you all had a good time.

Oh, by the way arrived home in one piece but was shivering when i got off the bike. Left MV at 7:00 and got home at 4:00, roughly 500 miles. Cloudy most of the way with only light drizzle off and on most of the way. Road with the Oklahoma bandits ( Lonnie, Mindy & Skip).

Forgot to post ...

My group made it home safe and sound on Sunday. Yankee and I got home, unloaded the bikes and then took the wives out for a bit of a ride and dinner.

Thanks to all for a great time. Steve and Katie, awesome job as always.

The homemade liquor selection continues to grow and this event had some real winners. The Apple Pie and Peach shine were most excellent!

Jeremy, lesson learned, I can't keep up with Scot in Exile on my best day, let alone when we give him a five minute head start. Next time I will plug the ride routes into the GPS in advance. I enjoyed the ride as we searched most of NC with Yankee trying to find the group.

Wendy, I am disappointed in the lack of abuse you imparted on Yankee. Half the reason I attend these events is to watch someone that is capable of rendering him speechless. Guess you felt the need to cut him some slack since he is now a Rocket owner. Good to see you and Jay none the less.

When and where is the next event?
