Most engines 09 onwards have had the upgrades but black engines where out before this . My 09 black had to get the upgrade but has been a great bike. Real difference imo black looks up to date and great on any colour and silver looks dated and has that hat full of arseholes /pitbull chewing a wasp kinda look . So that's that

Where on earth did you get that awesome rack behind the solo seat?
Think I gotta have one of those that mount under the chrome side covers.
I made it up and my son Kane tig welded it together. There is pictures of when I was making it up on here somewhere. Someone might know how to find them.

Dam! Just my rotten luck.
I ride solo and that rig would work perfect for carrying a bag without messing up the rear fender paint.

I still run both seats.

Bull , Ponters made himself a really neat rack out of the base of a pillion seat (removed vinyl and foam) and fitted a Harley Soft tail rack onto it. Worked well and looked like a bought one.

Very nice workmanship!
Curious as to what it bolts to? It doesn't look like at the fender mounts.
Now that I can see better it is the part where the pillion is that I want to be a rack.
Thanks for posting the extra photos.
Gratitude!

A dam good idea, TC!
I have my pillion, still new as it came off after the 1st ride home from the dealer.
Shall look into that for sure - I reckon. I would have to reconcile it with my Utopia mount.

Take the Crome covers off and there are 4 holes in the frame. I think this would be where the Triumph rack bolts to. I just took the rubber off the chrome covers and ground the bit away where the rack needed to come out.
