Good day group, just wondering if there are internal differences in the RIIITs and RIIIRs, such as cam or were all the performance differences done in the ECM. Reason why I ask is many sources say the R#T is 92hp and 120ft lbs of torque at the wheel. I just threw a tune at my 2014 RIIIT and it blows the tire off in 1st gear right to the limiter. Never did that pre-tune. I know the secondaries are now programmed to be 100% all the time. INSANE amount of difference. MY buddy commented there is no way that 120ft lbs would blow the tire off from a roll at 25mph. This is a phenomenon I am now experiencing. Cheers all.

Yes but I asked specifically about the engine and the internals. Touring has a 180 and the roadster is 240

I realize you had asked about engines, but Barbie's info about ZR tires, which I am keenly interested in for my own 200+ whp Roadster, sidetracked me.
I should have responded to his post - not yours.
Apologies.

No worries at all. More knowledge is always welcome in my book

@Kevin frazier AKA Barbie,
You got me interested, then I remembered wheel the size difference.
Just FYI I found this - perhaps helpful chart:
