You will have to forgive Scot in Exile...he hasn't had time to refill his prescriptions yet.
 
Silver engines were the norm until black anodising became popular because it was different.
It will be interesting what will happen after black becomes the norm.
Colour matched engines with the tin ware would look cool.
Black is already the norm, or should I say "black is this year's black". "Eightball, B.O.S.S., Zombie, etc"...whatever the other manufacturers want to call it, it's still black. I like black just as much as anybody, I would love to get a new roadster all in flat black myself. But when everybody's bike is black and yours is too, well that could get kind of dull. Of course nobody has mentioned on this thread yet about wether black or red is faster...personally I think Blue and white with silver motors are :roll::laugh::roll::laugh:.
