    My 2006 would occasionally die at idle so I move it up a bit, maybe 100 rpm. No more problem.

    lol, I had the same problem. Used a dremel to cut the tire off. Steel cord is tough! Had to have my wife help me get the new tire on.

    Those work great to break the bead seal. Bolt it down good and go for it.

    I would like to see evidence of even one blowout or accident caused by a car tire on a motorcycle. I would think a car tire would meet or exceed any specs for a motorcycle tire. If there have been any ill effects other than some peoples fear, where are they?

    Agreed. If you have trouble finding the filter, most Honda filters for gold wings, VTX, and valkyries will work

    Antigravity AG-XP-3 - Walmart.com This is what I bought on a friend's recommendation. He's had his for over a year and "loves it". For less than $70 US, I think it is a bargain.

    heated grips anyone ?

    i would think it would be the repetitive heating that would cause the failure. I have heated grip on mine but rarely use them. I worked in a meathouse for years and am use to have cold hands.
