Was Disappointed With The GIPRO

Hi Captain Jack, I am in process of similar mods as your self, I have tors fitted with cat bypass and am about to fit gipro, tell me did you bother to remove the secondaries as well? I know other guys on here say to do it but just wondered if it was necessary with gipro. I say this because I have removed secondaries prior to gipro and found engine is reluctant to tick over so thinking to maybe put them back in! I dont have tune ECU yet but will install it soon.

I've seen a GiPro on an 09 model mounted between the two instrument housings but can't get it to fit there on the Roadster. I think the gauges are slightly larger.
I ended up straping it to my accelerator cable.

Does anyone know if there is a handle bar bracket on the market that would be suitable for mounting it on?

If you remove the chromed plastic screw cover between the gauges there should be enough room to place it there. It was too tight on my '08 until I took off that cover. I also used double side foam tape cut in strips to fill in the low spots around the bolts to make the surface level. Then I put a square of velcro over that and on the back of the Pro ... makes for a very clean install that stays put.

Nice instal HF. It's annoying how close it comes to fitting in the space once the cover's removed. I lke that bar bracket, Mitch, but I agree, the GiPro needs to be between the guages. Tekcor, probably no better a solution than HellFire's but you could try removing the cover, grind it flat but not so far as to be below the edges of the cavity, superglue or epoxy it to the bottom of the GiPro and click back in place.
Of course, I haven't tried it.....
