Was Disappointed With The GIPRO

Just a thought are you certain you made the wire colour pin connections for the ECU correctly ? I remember it was fidely in that small space..
Is it the correct unit for your model bike as there are 2.

I found mine worked great as standard bike but today after mods its just an indicator.
Call your supplier it maybe faulty or they may have an answer

Mine is the T01. Wiring all good. May have to live with it as an indicator.

Thanks guys but you wouldnt believe it, I found them for sale on this site under the classifieds posted by Dandiego for $135 with free postage in the USA. I will get one sent to some family I have living in the States and they will post it on for me to Oz. I dont think you would find cheaper than that anywhere. Very happy. Thanks again for the replies.:D

I am riding the Rocket Touring. I think the GIPRO was worth every single cent. After installing (and learning) I found that this is the best money spend on the Motorcycle so far.

2nd important step was using TORS Muffler System from Triumph and a new Map done for free with Tune-Edit.

You will find some information with pics on my homepage. Sorry - most in German language, but somewhere on the page is the "google translation"

Totally agree Hardy. I was thrilled when I put my GIPro on a couple of years ago. Thought it was playing up recently but turned out to be water in the Gear Position Sensor. You don't "need" a gear indicator any more than you "need" a tacho (unless you push the red line) but both are nice to have. The extra oomph is great though.
