Rockets Across America VI

Dang Lupe..., you made some good time!

I'm back as well. Had a really great time; I met many folks there whom post regularly to the board here. Went on a nice long ride with Rainman leading it all day Saturday; and we enjoyed some really nice roads, and beautiful scenery.

I also had my first taste of some might fine Moonshine while I was there.... wonderful stuff

It did rain off and on, but I was sort of expecting that. Didn't stop anyone from riding; really didn't inhibit the rides at all.

I think most of the Captains and their families are leaving today; so posts will be a little delayed from them until they all arrive safely back at home. Looks like the weather for the most part will be good to them today (I rode back through some serious downpours through parts of Tennessee and Virginny yesterday)

Anyone who DID NOT get their shirts and DID pay for them . . please email me and I will ship them out. I tried to find everyone but there were a couple I couldnt find due to other hotels, rides, places etc. If you DIDN'T pay and I couldnt find you . . . you will have to re-order if you want them cause I sold 'em.

Everybody has departed except nmrocket he is staying a few extra days. Had a great time thanks to everyone who attended. Will post more when the brain cells regenerate.

Yeah Will, i tought i was gonna take a break somewhere, next thing i know i'm 3 hrs from home, 1000 miles in 15.5 hrs including pics at downtown Nashville and Memphis,, does that qualify as an iron butt:D???
BTW serious rain from Knoxville to almost Nasville:mad:

Made it home safely today. Had to ride through cold rain on Sunday. Had a great time meeting all you. Look forward to the next one.

Also home safe. Left at 6:30 AM yesterday and got home at 6:30 PM. Added an hour for time change and was 13 hours of drive time including gas stops. Ran 75-80 most of the way. I had an absolute blast.:D:D Met lots of great folks and made lots of new friends.

We made it home just fine a lot of aches and pains run-through rain on Jellicoe mountain then OK until about 45 mi. from home and it decided to rain cats and dogs, also Tennessee has better gas than Kentucky got 31.6 and the way we were loaded not complaining.
