ramair cracked

I have said mine is ok but I think I will pull the unit off and have a real good check.it's only been on for about 4000km, certainly be pissed if it's cracked.

Took the bear claw off, tank up, real good check over no problems, air sensor in nice an tight and definately no cracking of the rubber.

Is it just me (probably) but, without some sort of scoop isn't the name "Ramair" misleading?

Look i understand that a bunch of them have failed but as long as ramair stands by their product we shouldn't throw them under the train.

Remember they were the first company to specifically make a performance upgrade for our limited market bikes. They have to be shown so respect for that!

I'd have to agree. The kit is very complete, it's thought-through, the installation instructions are apparently flawless, and the performance is pretty much as good as it is humanly possible to get it while still keeping the filter under the claw. So there is a glitch in the material or execution (for some people, not all) - it's not like they're refusing to send out replacements or ignoring the issue.

Ramair replaced two filters for me no ploblem ,but if it hadn't been for the dyno bloke not being able to connect my bike to his laptop with TuneEcu it would have been a £200 bill for setting it up with a cracked Ramair filter,i dont think the Dyno bloke would have given me a free run if i had to going back with a non leaking filter on it,thats what really pissed me off.
