Sure enough same thing, I tightened the bolts to 10Nm per manual (they weren't) and will dm @Journeyman to take him up on the o-ring offer. Is it really necessary to pull the harness out as the manual states? I'll need to make a custom shorty 8mm socket to properly get behind the starter motor boot.

My hybrid fix with one larger o-ring and one stock size finally failed. I just the other day installed two of the stock size as Triumph intended. We'll see how long they last. I wonder how many people have this leak and don't realize it.

Have you tried cutting a custom gasket or using goop for the mating flat surfaces? But then again that might cause other problems.
