YES INDEED - Lush "street cams" fit with real life

Obviously I cannot tune the bike in USA from here in Oz. It seems like there is very few tuners in the US who will use other than Power commanders. My (not perfect, but pretty fair) solution from afar is to LOAN a PC 3 to my customer to use with their dyno guy, to do fuelling of the bike. With some emails and messing about I can use the resultant fuel map and my ignition maps to generate a useful tune for customers bike. It works ok, so folk tell me. This is not the best way to tune the bikes, but it is better by far than a poor tune or none. Please write this down so I don't have to explain it again and again. This is part of a service for a customer to help achieve a good result. Nothing more. If a tuner wants to tune the bike properly with whatever software or devices, then knock yourself out, go for it. Pretty much every person I have sent parts to in the US asks if I have a tune to suit. To this point, this is the most viable solution.

Hi Nev just in case you weren't aware, and might be a help, apparently you can import PCV tables into TuneECU now too, but only on the Android smartphone app

Yes,thank you, I have not tried it with android although it says the same thing on the PC software, but only seems to work properly with PC3. I also already had a PC 3 I could loan.

Holy $hit! CHILL OUT, Mr. Lush (I know how you like caps). :D
"mere mortals" was intended only as a homage to your vast knowledge!
My question about PC3 versus PC5 was merely my attempt to gain some knowledge from you.
By the way - caps are used for many things, including EMPHASIS.
I also dislike inaccurate information and pray tell me what mine were?
My apologies, but you have totally misjudged my comments and intent.
In the future, I shall refrain from bothering you. :(

@1olbull Your experience may vary.

I learned long ago, when dealing with a high-level practitioner of an art, and you would like a product, the best outcome is how that practitioner does it.

Not being from California, I drooled as a young man in Alabama over print copy with glossy photos of the many gorgeous vehicles there, and I wanted one.

I purchased a 1969 Pontiac Firebird, and asked a collector in the office what kind of paint is best. He discussed my project with me, and then paused and said, "You find someone who does work you like, and the paint they use is the best."

Screwed up and lined up the wrong dot. Bright side is we have the right dot now. Did the same thing last time. After tuning the engine over 4 times tool does set right. IMG_0695.JPG setting up in the air on intake side. Life goes on. Now we have to move the cams around to their respected spots and go again. Loving every minute. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just flat ran out of daylight. Still very much good to go. A couple of shops around here still do not understand the concept. Two people i know had their cams installed incorrectly. Have the right dot lined up and now just have to align the cams to their respected locations. Then go for four or more turns and check. Got a feeling tool will be laying flat afterward. Made the same error last time. Just a little disappointed but we will get over it. :):):):):)
