Anyone going??? I will be for pre-rally and rallly this year... Ran into a few guys with Rockets out there last year... If it was anyone from the board I had the 2011 Black and White touring with a Maine plate.

I'll be there by the 9th or 10th. 2008 Rocket III Classic maroon/cream two tone. If you see it traveling alongside a silver Yamaha Road Star Silverado that'll be me and my brother.

South Carolina 2 Sturgis

Hey guys this is Wild Man with a 2011 Roadster. Is anyone from the Greenville, South Carolina area thinking of cruising to the 2011 Sturgis Rally. I've never ridden a long- haul before, but strongly considering it if I can find someone to ride with.
If any of you that have already been to the Sturgis Rally. I would appreciate any suggestions on what type of gear to pack for a long-haul and any tips you have, to do or to avoid, at the rally.

I am leaving from KY on the morning of the 6th planning on riding out in 2 days and starting the journey 13th with an expected arrival the evening of the 14th.... I looked at the mileage you are looking at about 25hrs plus anyway you go. You could ride to my house in ky friday spend the night and we could ride to sturgis together and return ending at my house 14th spending the night and riding the rest on monday. let me know if you are interested and I will pm you my phone number.

Like DanDiego said I went before the blowout and have two t-shirts to prove it and took pictures. I was there yesterday in between Mt. Rushmore and the Devil's Tower visits.

Wildman, we are leaving SC on the 3 August - arriving Sturgis on 6 August. Staying at Lamphere Ranch - which is across from Full Throttle Saloon. Leaving to come home on 11 August. We have five bikes going - My 05 R3, a 2010 Thunderbird, a Yamaha, and two Harley's. The Harley's have to ride in back. You are welcome to ride with us if you want to. This will be the 5th trip for me and the Yamaha. All the others are rookies.
