Right now Interstate 40 is closed in both directions. I think they said around the 216 mile marker, which is about 70 miles west of where I live. They already have alternate routes that they are redirecting traffic but the alternate routes are over an hour out of the way. They are saying that the water will resead next week but they are not saying what day. I will keep everybody thats heading east on Interstate 40 informed of the road conditions and when I-40 is reopened.

Ok yall.............. I have missed the last month of posts due to work and Ime not going back thru them.........
I dont usually drink although everyone thinks Ime drunk at the RAA's but I do think I forsee a vodka and orange creme soda drunk coming on at the RAA
This is a warning.........so dont say I didnt warn yall.........

I got your back sis. By the way, tis better to have cooler temps as I don't like riding and sweating Hellraiser and I have some "apple pie" to keep your bones warm. Mesquite smoked the beef yesterday and will make my sauce today for RAA VI. Me, Gr3ywolf, and Captain C meeting Thursday morning at the Moose Cafe in Asheville for breakfast so if you're in the hood, stop at exit 47 and eat with us.

Do you think that those of us coming from the west on I-40 should take 64 northeast at conway to 67 to 64, and then into Marion??????
Only adds about 45 mins. according to mapquest. That would put us right at your doorstep, correct? Then back on to I-40???????? Just a thought.
