Rockets Across America II - 2007

We need a patch or something to commemorate the Raid on Nashville - Rockets Across America II. Who wants to volunteer to work on that?

Raymond:

'nuther suggestion. Rather than a patch how about some computer generated vinyl. Patches are nice for jackets, but a vynil sticker looks nice on your lowers or windscreen or whatever.

I'm not volunteering. I have a full plate right now with college, State and Fedreal tests and my decided lack of reading comprehension.:(

patch

here is an idea of a design for your patch. if interested, let me know if i need to make any changes and i will see if i can make it satisfactory for all!

design

i have a place right at the end of my road that does stickers. if you can get me a design soon enough i can go have him make them at a fairly good price and when yall get here i can give them to you!

Jared, here is a request. If there is several Hooters there, we (I) would like to attend the one which hosts the "most breast" per capita.

hooters

well all of the hooters are going to be just about the same as breast per capita. depends if you want to find and pay to park or if you just want to park and eat.

I've been thinking about that as well. I have in mind it will be $4.00+ here in the Midwest, or darn close to it. Even on a bike, at 32-34 mpg, that Nashville trip is gonna get spendy. Then the Sturgis trip a month later. So, throw in a few hours of OT each week between now & then to cover it, right?

Ride on!!!

I'll guess.....

I better be careful about this reply. After all, we don't want to get into a political discourse intertwined with a fun trip...

I venture a guess and say gas prices will be in the 3.50-3.75 bucks per gallon of regular unleaded when we rock the Rockets to Smashville. Watching economic indicators, I'll also venture a guess and make a prediction that by the end of summer, gas prices will be in the area of 5 bucks a gallon and possibly higher, though I believe when prices hit 5 bucks, the rank and file taxpayers in this country are going to go ape ****te. Of course there will be a lot of finger pointing but the American people need to turn that finger around and point it at themselves but then that's getting political so I'll desist.

Was anyone here worried about gas mileage when we bought the Hummers of motorcycles, hell no. My cage does almost as good as the Rocket but my cage is nowhere the 'smiles per miles' that the R3 gets so if you want economy, buy a Vespa but if you are going to take your Vespa to Nashville, better leave a few days prior to Friday so you can get there.

Come to think of it, my T100 with the sidecar gets better mileage than the Rocket. I never considered the R3 to be miserly.
