No problem. We'll do a Chevy Chase number and put the feline on a leash and tie it to the luggage rack before I leave the house.

Ray, Britman, and everyone else, including the designated rider - the work by all in organizing this event is inspirational.
I see several (3) souper ates within rather short distances to Bikini Beach. I'm sure these have all been querried? There are also a couple (2) Motel 6 locations also within short distances; and, a Hooters quite close to Bikini Beach. Save your dollars at Motel 6 for the lap dances at Hooters? There are one of each in Murfreesboro. BTW: I was recruited in Murfreesboro and enlisted in Nashville 33+ years ago. In all my million miles of travel I've always dreaded driving through Nashville. I imagine there are worse places, Kabul Afganistan, Miami...New York. Miami #1 in road rage.

Previously a Super 8, now Harding Inn located 350 Harding PLace says they'll have 6-10 rooms for the weekend. Single $49 Double $55. They aren't a 3 star. This place is within sober walking distance of Bikini Beach.

The Super 8's over that way were booked, along with Fairfields, La Quinta Inns, and a couple others I tried from Jared's list. I did not try Motel 6 if I recall, so give it a shot and see what you can find out if you want. Probably close to the water on the east side during the weekend of the 4th goes first. With your background please do what you can to prevent any rain during that weekend. Traffic down there can't be as bad as Altanta or Northern Virginia I hope..........

I just spoke with Mike at Harding Inn previously Super 8. The notification of interstate exits were within mere yards of the exits. Crossing 4-5 lanes to get to the exit was impossible. You had to know where you were going. Kept the yankees outta town I see the TripAdvisor rating 3.5 outta 5.

Google Harding Inn Nashville, I don't know how to do all of that transfer to post crap. I have stayed at worst. Hell I lived for a couple of weeks in a 63 Plymouth Valiant during divorce. Right now only Raymond, Rusty, and myself have confirmed rooms at the Super 8 on the west side (I believe). They can be canceled with a call. If you guys want to get closer to the beach thats fine with me, lets have some input real quick because time is marching on. Jarad if you are watching, location wise where is this place in reference to the fun and sun of Nashville?

Rusty has our room in his name and he's unavailable until mid week, next week. He went to visit with family in Arkansas on the R3 so even if you P.M. him, you won't get a reply until at least Wednesday. Maybe I should also tell you guys that I have a corporate discount card for Souper Ate though I'm not sure if the franchise in Smashville will honor it. I did give the number to Rusty and he didn't call me to say they didn't. Anyone that can live in a '63 Valiant can shack up anywhere. Me, I prefer not to do a cockroach count before I lay my little head down to sleep. Fresh towels in the morning as well as a Continental Breakfast are nice too. Sounds like the Harding Inn might give 'ya slimy dough nuts (a local delicacy) and cold coffee with plenty 'o' grounds in the bottom. Also included might be used towels from the room next door. You know, presto-changeo..
Finally, I have a copy of the reservations right here on the desk and I see you can cancel the reservation up to 4 PM on the arrival day, but then, it's not my reservation so I go where Rusty goes.

Perhaps Jared, you could swing by Harding Inn and scope it out?? Eye-ball the proximity to the beach and hooters? And be sure to check on quality of lap dances at both
I saw one review on this motel, from 2004, when it was being remodeled; whatever that means. It wasn't favorable but shirely two stars is better than a '69 Valiant . Was that the one with the appearance of a spare tire mounted on the underside of the trunk hood, or was that the Lancer? My vague recall of that quadrant of Smashville, just in passing, is positive but that's been quite awhile. It's just a short ride to a Mall for whatever that means.

I checked out the Harding Inn and came up with no rooms available for that weekend. Unless someone else has already reserved a block of rooms there, we may be out of luck there.
