Mapquest figures in at 600 miles @ about 9 hours to Nashville for me. Chances are i will leave work around noon on Friday to hit the road. Arriving late Friday night or early Saturday is a possibility. Depending on what kind of mood the boss is in, maybe with a little kneepad use, i can get the whole day Friday off! Bigern

Mapquest figures in at 600 miles @ about 9 hours to Nashville for me. Chances are i will leave work around noon on Friday to hit the road. Bigern, don't forget the helmet if you have to use the kneepads, we don't want you bumping your head on the bottom side of the desk.

I think MarQuest is on drugs.. Its got me going down to Nashville at about 550 miles in 8.5 hours, or about 65 miles per hour average.

Gas stops, lunch, rest stops factored in... but average speed at 100 mph... I guess thats about right

My big worry is the heat... I'm an old fart
