You could always sell the Glide, you would have enough$$$ to buy The R3T, get a batwing if you like it,TORS for the sound, and a hitch for your trailer, then you would eliminate downshifting when you ride a hill, LOL.
Lowers/deflectors make a BIG difference- Laminar-lip makes a difference but it's not HUGE - mine is currently off, BUT my screen is re-angled and moved slightly forward.
My screen has a carbon-fibre reinforced rubber shield bolted in under the chrome frame - fills the gap between the headlamps and lower edge of screen. Should also be noted I have a black fly-screen fitted BEHIND the roadster screen.

Thanks, couple more questions if you don't mind. Why leave the fly screen on and what are the make of the lights on your crash bars? Very nice bike by the way.
Thanks
SO Warpo,
Where is the stickie on how to do this for us electric dummies?
I bought mirrors with a blinker portion facing rear. It has helped me a lot to not forget to cancel the switch.
I like your idea better . . .

No sticky needed as its just a relay the cancels after time. it does not move the switch back to the neutral position which you do when you go to use the turn signal again. Its simple but saves me from riding for hours with the turn signal on

Here the link SignalMinder Turn Signal Canceler for the New Triumph Rocket III

The fly screen keeps the instruments in shade - Sun is a big issue here in summer. Also I was getting all sorts of odd reflections off the instrument shells off the inside of the roadster screen. Annoyed the hell out of me - especially at night. I had to make new brackets to double mount.
The lights on the crash bar are 100% identical to the Triumph ones - They're Chinese - bought from a company in Germany on eBay. Heavily modified now - They're LEDs inside
