R3 battery type and battery tender

Agree about both working although one is less tedious. Simply leaving a proper battery tender plugged in 24/7 does it all for you. The tender kicks in and charges your battery when it falls to a certain level then shuts off when the charged level is met until the battery charge drops to recharge level. Might be once a day or once a week. It does this mindlessly and doesn't forget like most of us.....
 
I had a Lithium in Montana. Didn't last a year. Just didn't have the cold crank needed
