That there is the way the Dragon was meant to be ridden!
Best Dragon video I have seen! I almost felt like I was back there.
Those Gold wings (post 2001 1800cc) handle better in the twisties than the Rocket.
The two in the video MUST have had suspension work as I saw very little dive and bounce.
WHAT A RUSH!
Thanks for sharing this, my friend.

Mate, the camera bike scrapped on just about every corner , you can hear it touching down. If you enjoyed that you would have loved being with me and Richard down in Tassie .. run through Cradle Mountain was memorable to say the least.
20mm extra length shocks solved that for me, I really have to be over a loonngg way before I touch down nowSad to say, it is what I love to do best on a motor.
The dragging prevents further lean angle. Way too common on cruisers. I aim to eliminate or greatly reduce it on my R3R.
If I go down again I want it to be from exceeding tire traction -not dragging metal lifting the tires.

yup I am running a Dunlop Elite 3 in 150/80/17, it has a different profile shape, great fast steering and more feed back than Avon, at this stage (2,000 km) also appears to be wearing very good with no real signs of any wear ...... I think I may have finnaly found my favorite front tyre.My brand new longer 444s should do the same for me . . . I hope.
You still run a 150 front?

Actually find it works well with the Excedra Max on back, jury is still out on if the Excedra will be replaced by another or go back to a DarkSide upcoming trip to SBK at Phillip Island plus going on to do another Lap of the Apple Isle (Tasmania) towing the Camper will help decide.I ran Elite 3 in a 180 on the rear of my V2k which called for a 200.
Best damm handling tire I ever had on that bike (24 tires so far).
Currently running a 140 up front on the Rocket. The weight transfer and smaller profile improve the handling IMO.
Dunlop makes some very good tires. Wish I could run a set on the R3R. It's crap they aren't 17" rear and front.
