Guys,
Apologies in advance to those are already aware of this. Also, I'm not trying to be a smartarse.........but it appears where most of the confusion on power ratings (and other things) above comes from is simply naming conventions. Many people get confused between the earlier "Tourer" and the brand new "Touring" which is why there appears to be differing HP ratings for the "same" model, and conflicting advice.
There's the Rocket Standard(foot pegs), then the Rocket Classic (pulled back bars and footboards), then the Rocket Classic TourER (the Classic with leather bags etc) - all of which are around 140hp, and the new Rocket Classic TourING (dual pipes, single light, fibreglass panniers etc) - at around 106hp.
I have just bought a Touring, plus the TORs, plus Tuneboy. I am out of action after a knee op, so I though I'd do some pre work while I'm off my feet, especially as there is no workshop manual as yet.
Where exactly is the ECU on the Touring ? No laughing please
Regards, Pete
