YA nev
YES BULL then go with the less expensive LUSH drop in cams that use the stock springs ,buckets, shims, and retainers that will save you a few dollars

You must have some kind of comprehension issue, Art.
Are you trying to drive business away?
Not one word I wrote inferred that I was considering anything but Carpenter!
You really should re-read ALL your responses in this thread and then reconsider your attitude because it is harming the Carpenter business.
Get off your high horse and get over yourself because this discussion is NOT about you, but rather about the fine Carpenter product, to which you are doing harm.

Well Said, it not the first time either

Are Nev's services really less expensive?
No one is actually talking about price it was about ease of fitting,
1) lifting rocker cover and fitting Cams and dialing in plus a tune
as opposed to
2) lifting rocker cover and removing head to fit all the extra bits and pieces to allow the motor to rev to 9,000 rpm then refitting it i dialing in and a tune

I need to understand exactly what parts and work is involved in order to make an informed decision.
The price gets dealt with last.

Hey, I didn't bring it up, but I am curious to know what he charges for for his stuff. Does he have a website? How else can anyone do an effective cost/benefit analysis without all the pertinent info needed to make an informed decision?

Not sure but he will happily give a approximate (as you dont know if there are going to be any complications these days No One gives a final quote ) via e-mail
just remember cos all our $hit is more expensive due to gov charges (taxes etc) it won't be cheap,

So... no website and pricing du jour?

It is an Old website, he is not a big businessman he works out of a very modest premises and these are all things that I am sure such a learned fellow like your self are well aware of, he doesnt big note himself and his work speaks for itself, If Art and your self werent trying to deflect the basis of the last who knows how many pages and actually read peoples posts you would not be coping so much flak I got turned off the thought of getting Carpenter stuff because of a very similar thread back over on the .com site a long time ago before I had even heard of Neville Lush.
Are tying to bad mouth him again, as both You and Art do Bob Carpenter a dis-service with yours and Art's very poor PR skills, I do tire of your crap. bye
