Just got dynoed, 130 hp does not impress me

that's why I bought it. what shall I do now?
I have nothing now. not the fastest, not the most powerful, not the prettiest bike.

it's the biggest bike at the café, that's all

The engine is the same as all other R3s, and will respond to the same modifications. My bet is the R3R simply has a more restrictive exhaust than earlier models. Nothing an aftermarket exhaust won't fix. Let the aftermarket catch up and you will likely have a few choices to make. Jardine has just released an R3R specific full system.

thanks PowerTripp, no worries.
I have the supercharger on its way and maybe exhaust with supertrapp.

but why, oh why did the release the R3R with more restrictive exhaust and at the same time claimed it to be more powerful than previous rockets?

Wow, big typo there.lol I meant to post the 1535.1 I had. I changed it on the post. Good eye and sorry for the glich.

:D 135.1 it is, although you seem seem to typo it to 1535.1 in the post above...
anyway we're on par and all is well, even though we lack15-20 HP compared to older rockets with their TORS.

I have a 07 Classic i had stock 20227 base tune, stock intake, filters etc. with D&D's on and got 128.49 hp and 140 tq dynoed, since then I've put Jars on and have to get dynoed again. I thought the Roadster would be better then that, maybe you need to change the base tune

neither me nor Frank have the basetune or stocktune even though all tunes origin from a base.
we both have tunes done on a dyno, customized with tuneboy, tunes written by a pro!
the roadster has much more restrictive exhaust, even the tors apparently!

I think the cats are in the cans on the roadster aren't they, I take it they are gone.

I'm still VERY curious to see a dynoed Roadster with the Staintune cat delete for under the bike with either the Staintune or TOR cans. That's still a decent option, but for about the same price (possibly a couple hundred more) you could get the Jardine system that should flow much better and looks the business (working on my british sayings).

Frank, Byron and Leif need to get together and pick straws to se who will be the first to get that combo and dyno.

Cheers (again, doesn't feel right, but trying my best brit impression).
