Just got dynoed, 130 hp does not impress me

motorcycle-usa did a stock dyno run.

RWHP = 114 @ 5,300 rpm (21.9% loss from claimed crank 146)
RWTQ = 132 @ 2,500 rpm (20% loss from claimed crank 165)

They claim the dyno they use reads a little lower than others but just wanted to provide you with a point of reference.
 
Here is my dyno, almost 142hp. Have staintune exhaust, no cat, removed secondarys, I use pods and tuneboy. See the difference just with the different air intake from stock under the seat, 11hp.
With the same mods on my Roadster, I'm showing 143.02 RWHP and 148.95 Torque. Just installed the Jardines and RU 1770 filters. Hope to see better numbers. Bruce added another 10% feul across the board to let me take it to the dyno. certainly doesn't feel, smell or sound rich anymnore.lol Pipes sound great. conciderably luder than the TOR's
 
With the Jardines i now have 159.99 torque and 155.04 RWHP. Pretty good improvement. Feels and sounds like a different bike altogether.

It was good with the previous set up but this one is really good. Huge difference. Amazing power at the touch. Too much for this old man. There is a point I can barely hold on.lol

Please don't infer that you are too old. I believe that you are a good fella in need only of more speed. That said my friend, modify until happy, then ride until you no longer can. Then it shall be said that you indeed enjoyed the good life.
 
The difference in the first modifications was huge. This latest change scares me.lol. If you haven't opened up your R3, you can't imagine what that torque and RWHP feels like. We're talking at the rear wheel power, not the advertised **** at the crank.
All of that torque comes in at aaround2400 rpm and doesn't even begin to fade at 5000 rpm. Amazing pull. I can barely hold on. Sure is fun though. I'ld like to take it to the drag strip if I could launch it better.
Any good info out there for launching these things and having a little control?lol
