Just got dynoed, 130 hp does not impress me

Hi Leif,

Why did you stop the run at 5600RPM? Factory Rev limit is 6300rpm

I didn't, he did!

I guess he did not see any more torque or HP coming out after 5600, I never asked.
however, the machine does not have peak HP or torque after 5600 rpm, right?

thank you all so much for feedback so far.
what really bugs me is that I got friends with Rockets, 3-4 years old. TORS, 3xKN and PC3.

they have 147-152 RWHP.

one of the guys above dyno on the same place done by the same guy that dynoed mine. I guess he and I have adjustments for weather conditions and such done the same way.

given that the other guy mentioned above has another dyno, other weather conditions and such:
* there are still a massive 17-22 RWHP difference between our bikes.
* one thing may differ. they have no cat. the Roadster with TORS still have a small cat underneath, is this true or not?

I bought the Roadster to be the worst kid on the block and what happened is that the guys with older Rockets drive around me in circles

please note the key words that I have mentioned:
we have all TORS.
we have all 3xKN RU-2780.
2 of us on the same dyno done by the same guy.

I am 17-22 RWHP behind them. they are above me in torque as well. can get back on those numbers.

I've got the Staintune free flowing X-over coming. I think that is going to make a difference. With the stock headers, I douibt that any r3 is pulling 145RWHP. Maybe they are with the freeflowing crossover cat delete on them. I think our pipes are still restricted and with the small boxes underneath on the x-over, I doubt if its flowing good free enough to take full advantage of the triples. Since I have all but removed my BC, I have a set of the RU 3780's. They are 1 inch taller than the 2780's. They'll definately flow better.
I'm going to keep the 2780's on and not put the X-over on for a few months. Like to let the weather cool down a bit before I put her back on the dyno. She's running plenty good until then. I Only have about 1300 miles on my bike. Good luck.

Dynos from two Rockets, not Roadsters. 4-5 year old machines.
neither have a cat. one of them hade a home built shorty system.

RWHP in the upper 140's and over..:)

one of the bikes on the same dyno as mine, done by the same guy. and he is a good one!

Frank, can you post, or send, a picture of your chopped bear claw? I will do something similar and right now I wont pay for the partial carbon fiber. all the money went to the supercharger...

Give me a day and I'll send a picture of my Bear fingernail Clipping. I really like it and has to let the engine run cooler, with better air flow around the head. Again. My roadster is shodwing 136 on the rear wheel and I really believe the free flowing X-over is going to help. We'll see. DWish to **** I had bought the set of Preds they're listing now.

I'll be sitting at the 'puter waiting..:p

yeah, the problem with buying stuff, for a brand new model, as soon as they are released is that we forget that newer and probably better stuff is just around the corner!
all the best Frank,
