I expected more as well. Right now not so happy with what Triumph promised me when I bought the bike

Frank, can you post, or send, a picture of your chopped bear claw? I will do something similar and right now I wont pay for the partial carbon fiber. all the money went to the supercharger...
Here are a couple of pics of the fingernail.lol Also a shot of the r3780's next to the 2780's you have. My dyno work was with the 2780's. I think the X-over and the new filters will help. Have some patience, we'll get there, yet.

Here is one more, like you don't already have the idea. I just left enough to cover the ledge under the tank. Just get out the dremel tool with a cut off blade and go for it. File it smooth, rough it up with some 220 or 330 paper, shoot it withe some etching primer and paint it flat black. While your at it, paint that chrome plastic radiator shroud. It doesn't look so big in black. I did't paint the bottom of it. I figured it would get the most abuse. Think it looks pretty good.

thank you Frank. that's severely chopped!

I like the shiny water cooling tank you got there. where is it from? is it Raask?
I have the stock plastic tank under the saddle but that is temporary.

my problem with so much chopped is that I would probaby get my left knee into the filter when doing tougher driving with lots of bends. I like to squeece the tank with both knees for best feel for the bike if you understand what I mean.
do you tend to get the knee in the filter as well?

I have ordered Nigel Rodgers carbon fibre partial bear claw. it will fit nicely over the intake when I get the supercharger as well!

that's why I bought it. what shall I do now?
I have nothing now. not the fastest, not the most powerful, not the prettiest bike.

it's the biggest bike at the café, that's all

Yea, i tend to put my knee on the filter at times. But, I'm not concerned dwith it.
I'm getting 135.1 RWHP and 147.96 Max Torque on my Roadster. I have the triple K&Ns and Tors. I have the free flowing X-Over coming from Sataintune to replace the cat box underneath. I'm also going with the 1" taller K&N RU3780 filters. I hshould see a good gain there. I think the R3 3 into 3 TOR's breath better than the 3 into 2 Bazookas we have. My max HP is in at 5500 RPM. I need to look at the timing and A/F on the top end to find out why it's falling off. It might be another limiting factor Triumph programed into the ECU. We'll get it sosrted out and I'm confident it'll get there. I had my 09 Bonnie at 82RWHP baut it took time. Lot's of dyno time. It's too hot to want to be dynoing the **** out of my bike right now. I probably won't even put the X-Over and new filters on until it cools off.
I'll post my dyno sheet later today.

Frank, do you have a baseline for a stock R3 on the dyno that gave you 166 rwhp with TORS? I assume you have some form of cat-delete as well. I ask, because this seems very high - even for a Dynojet.
