Is the Rocket III for me? Hi from Canada!

you sound like a nice bloke, taking the time to go into detail like that. ust wanted to say that was a nice thing to do..........what the f#ck is wrong with you LOL:D

I don't know man....a moment of weakness maybe. Ah hell, I just didn't want to hear on the 6 o'clock news;
Canadian man found frozen in the snow cuddled up to an M109........

I retract my question, it appears I am unwelcome here just because I asked a few questions.

Sorry that I don't fit into your special group. Maybe when I have been touched by the hand of god I will be welcomed here and own a Rocket

Thanks for the diplomacy!
Where's that thick Canadian skin we all have up here that wards off the cold Ricocet? It works to ignore unconstructive comments too. I agree with you completely about asking current owners about their +/- about having these bikes. But.....it is a public forum with everyone posting their opinion, right or wrong. Myself included, some of us have the attention span of a bolt of lightning and get off topic....Squirrel! Where was I, oh yeah. I cant comment on the roadster, I wanted a cruiser, BUT, I will tell you, these bikes attract ALOT of attention, especially from people who don't ride bikes, they even notice the difference. Here is a power cruiser comparison done by Popular Mechanics in 2009, you current ride is right behind the rocket according to them. Power Cruiser Motorcyles: PM Road Test - Popular Mechanics
I can only tell you that I am VERY happy I chose a Triumph, find a dealer and book a test ride,then we hope to see you back on the forum, there are ALOT of knowledgeable and helpful riders here with great advice.....and ways of getting more power,out of these bikes.
