Installation of Neville Lush Racing "Street" cam shafts - coda

Oh, good to hear the voices didn’t fall on deaf ears after all.

Good luck on the new shed!

That is a very nice looking HP plot, more everywhere and doesn’t fall over as hard up top. Looks like a fun bike to ride.

Yes me too if I don’t get my Boss Hoss and seems I won’t unless I fined a few insurance that will insure but as now the ones I call will not insure here in Ontario.
So if I keep my Rocket I’ll do either Nevs cames or do the Carpenter kit, just not sure between them both which one would be best for me, it seems you get more with the carpenters kit but do I really need all that?
I just want my Rocket to sound more meaner and take off even faster from a dead stop or faster from from taking off from 35 mph
I usually will quite after 100 mph :) but I want to be able to feel all that power even though I’m not using it all most the feels of being on the Boss Hoss perhaps that’s why I like it, I wounder If I’ll get that same feeling doing Nev’s cams or the Capentor kit?

@canecorso
Realize that increasing your power only makes hole shots more difficult!
Me reckons that if you get a good header system, Ramair and a proper dyno tune, you will be a happy camper!

I bought my bike stock in Seattle and cycle barn a Triumph dealer used to race the Rocket and try to get the best time and they did to my bike what they did to there’s,
As I remember I had the K&N filters on and they put aluminum all behind they said so the K&N don’t breath in the heat from the engine
With full Jardine Exhust and something about high performance spark plugs and they tuned it, if I remember I think it was 152hp 158 tourque , and I remember getting on it saying holly **** what a difference.
So mine is so much more faster then stock and I am happy, I just feel like I want to feel that again and say holly ****:) I just feel I needs change for some reason

I didn't know you had done some mods.
I will admit to mentally wrestling with the concept of a 225HP Carp package . . .

Yes so it has been tuned by pros that Shop in Seattle those guys where great with the Rocket . Getting that much hp back then was good for what they did.
But I am worried say I did Nev’s cams or the carpenters kit will it make me take off even faster? Or will it just spin the tire and end up taking off slower? Until it grabs?
Or I would get that same thrill as I did riding the new 2018 Boss Hoss because the Triumph is lighter and with 200hp or so I would get that same kind of Rush?

Maybe you need to practice/up skill your Drag Racing skills.

I've never had a problem with traction. It's more about keeping my bodyweight as far forward as possible to try and keep the front end down, especially once it gets on the cams. Where the stock motor starts falling off, the big cams really take off.
