All gearbox parts replaced. Engine in frame. Should be ready for me to fit the exhausts etc., on Saturday

I just wonder how long it will last?

Still no idea, as to why the circlip jumped out of it's groove...

IF all is correct it should last forever

I don't have the opportunity to send those dogs to Carpenters and I don't know of anyone good enough in the UK, plus when I mentioned 'undercutting' to Bob Carpenter, he said it wouldn't be necessary on a Rocket X.

V-E-R-Y Interesting . . .

Just like the Hall and Oates song, we're Back Together Again
Re-attached the exhausts and Ramair filter last Saturday lunchtime. Oil level checked and a brief hook up to the diagnostic computer. Riding away by 15:45

Pulled in for fuel and it stuck in 1st gear, wouldn't budge
Rode away in 1st and it cleared itself. Took it out for an hour on Sunday (the same route that it broke on) and...Touch Wood, it seems fine.
Here's hoping...

Yep...that's the usual culprit.

The thrust washers (#'s 8 & 12) don't exist anymore - the splined bushes for 3rd and 4th gears have the washer incorporated.
