lower performance in gears

300 miles is a small price for a sweet running rocket.

it's true but I'm very busy so, if I don't solve with them, I will do it farther for a dyno center test.. I will opt, otherwise, a garaging for precautionary purpose.. I hope then identify before both cause than solution..

Hi,
I ask your help, waiting solve this problem, for other help request/suggestion..
I don't use our VDO dashboard but aftermarket, some years ago I bought only small odometer produced by MMB.. I removed our VDO tachometer but I kept respective wires..
I need know, at least, which wires needed for
- rpm counting
- which one for fuel reserve..
if you knew other, I mean neutral gear (N) and engine failure/trouble, then it would be very good..

P.S. meanwhile Merry Christmas

The speeds you report all come in at 5500rpm.
That's pretty accurate point to reach top speed per gear, so that sounds like you are hitting a limiter.

Are you getting these speed readings from the speedometer or a GPS device?

Assuming speedo readings; given your bike's modifications I would point first at the accuracy of the speedo. You can use an app on your phone to get accurate speed, and verify speedometer circuit accuracy.

did you verify your speeds with a GPS or app yet???

I done it, so with GPS.. more times too, whenever with identic result.. I substitute VDO, left and right tool, since 2011 without any problem, this anomaly dates back to around 2014 mid.. so I use MMB on handlebar, I kept however standard odometer (our left dashboard tool).. I removed just right tool, tachometer so, but preserving its wires under gas tank.. here link where I say what I did
which stock odometer-rev counter wires
I hope it's clearly explained
