Engine sputtering and backfiring

I'm just going to take the bike to Triumph and let them deal with it. I just don't feel comfortable messing around with all of this stuff I know little to nothing about. FWIW, I don't think the issue has anything to do with vacuum lines or coil connections as I don't believe either of those things would cause it to run poorly only at the very specific portion of the throttle movement area where the issue is occurring. It seems to me if there was a bad coil connection or a bad/leaking vacuum line, the engine would run poorly at all RPMs and all throttle positions. I still think it's either a tuning issue, or something is wrong with the TPS. But like I said, I don't know enough about the bike yet to sort this issue out, so I'm taking it to Triumph...

That's what I'd be doing as well .. fix and repair what I feel confident doing .. learnt the hard way I'm not actually a factory authorised mechanic

Sometimes i wonder if the ones at the dealerships are either and if they are the standards are pretty low because half of them would struggle to do up their own shoe laces .............just saying

That's not what I want to hear just before taking the bike to the dealership...

Same thing happening in my bike too!! 2012 rocket 3!!!!! I think the engine is running lean!! Sometimes its annoying!! Iam going to vex and sell this for a ducati diavel

I will change the spark plugs and the fuel filtet to check it again thoroughly

Even though I'm one of the most technically ignorant members Rocket-wise, I suggest you consider this: the manual states that poor throttle response at low rpm's is often due to low fuel pressure caused by filter blockage/leaks or by loose fuel pipes to the pump and filter. Also, why not check the 3 Ramair connections to the throttle bodies to be sure none have become unseated?
