Engine guard chaps from Sage Brush

Y'all are brave souls indeed. I got a set -- @Tripps can let you have them cheap -- scare me. I just have this dark brooding vision of having my hand out of the thing for some reason, and then needing to get my hand back in it in a hurry and being unable to in time and all kinds of bad things happening.

For me, the hand-level wind deflectors from @Bedifferent are the ticket.

Well Paul, I have used them when the wind is close to 100 MPH with no worries. They do start to deform at higher speed but getting my hands back inside has not been a problem thus far. With that said, @Bedifferent has a cool idea there...

Lest we forget, we would do well to remember @Boog is a true American hero, willing -- and demonstrated -- to willingly leave a perfectly functioning, warm jet helicopter, and slip into dark, unknown water, armed to the teeth, and under fire. Hippo Hands are not for the faint of heart.

I've used them for years on my side car/winter rig, but with hand guards, which they recommend, but I haven't been able to find hand guards to fit the Rocket. Let me know what you want for them, I'm interested.

I'll be darned, someone bought the company, the former owner was a member of my local BMW club, I talked to him about buying the company when he retired, but I thought he wanted too much. They didn't have any left to fit Rocket, and he was done making them.

Thanks, I remember that thread, I posted in it, but I think I was worried about fitment, not listed for Rocket, and the guy that bought them didn't have a Touring, but I bookmarked it.
