How reliable (and in the know) is the bloke you spoke to Chris ? Been speculation about the fate of Rockets (not just the RT) for a long time now .. just asking.

I rang Triumph at Hinckley , Coventry about a month ago to speak to the sales department as a friend of mine was looking for a touring but in red and I was told by the Triumph Factory salesman that there were only two or three left unregistered in the UK and there wouild be no more made after they were gone. So my mate ended up with one of the last ones made and had no choice but to have it in black ( with a very nice red and gold pinstripe ). If you call any uk Triumph dealer , as we did , they will tell you there are no more available.

I spoke to Triumph at Hinckley over here in the UK and I was told that the last of the R3 Touring had left the factory and a friend of mine has just taken delivery of the last but one off the production line

So the clock is definitely ticking on getting any factory accessories one might want, huh.

It's sad to see them end production - end of an era type stuff - but with the new Thunderbird LT taking almost exactly the same niche, but with a more boring and conventional motor, it's not a shocker I suppose.

It would appear so . My friend is struggling to get almost any accessories over here in the UK

It's more than sad good as they be the Thunderbird is just another twin cylinder motor cycle ,not unique like the rockets ,I ride with a couple of thunderbird riders and they never get the attention the Rocket 3T gets even harleyophiles grudgingly give you attention, you only get that if you have the biggest gun in town not another twin or four universal Japanese motor cycle.

They are all in the US it's the end of 2014 but what about 2015 I also called Triumph today they said that as far as the know it will still be made I called because I need a new one after mine was totaled yesterday and have found several here in the states they also said that any bike Triumph make will be supported for 10 years after the end date of being made I hope there not done with them
