End of the line for the 2.5 Rocket???????

Maybe, but knowing the general impression I have of the fella, it's more likely to be that he's got the model wrong.
So, maybe it's just a different model than the Rocket that's in for the chop?.....Who knows...
I think you're assumption about the guy's general professionality is probably correct, but still, there could still be some truth in it.......
The Thruxton is gone. Now none of their Classic line is top spec. The new Rocket (not the old one) is top spec. Its niche seems a bit confused. On the one hand, it’s a very heavy street fighter with ridiculous power. On the other, it’s not a touring or a true bagger like a heritage classic. While there are aftermarket solutions for screens and perhaps luggage, I think Triumph is blowing it in that respect. It could be more versatile. At least with the old Rocket you could hang as much luggage as you wanted on the rear end. They did it for you with the Touring.

10?
2019 when they made them and sold them in 2020, so really 6 ish
I believe Jag was talking about the Rocket since birth and the older gen Rockets sold in 04. The newer gen Rockets did indeed start in 2019 for the 2020 R and GT. The old and new gen Rockets are total 20 years old. And leave the old BSA Rocket 3 out of this!!;)
Edit: Once again I meant 20 years but put 10 years concerning the total years. No excuse cause I proof read it 6 times! :banghead: :banghead:

We are talking about something that Is going to be discontinued. Thus only current production rockets apply. 6 years. Not 10
Also the 1st gens are the best imo. Biased opinion for sure.

If an individual starts a conversation with a perceived “fact” and then later on says “not sure” is exhibiting unprofessional behavior.

They should be selling on the checkboxes the bike solves. If the seller bothers to ask how many girls you’re trying to get, or how many morning rides you want to do.
