The Thruxton is gone. Now none of their Classic line is top spec. The new Rocket (not the old one) is top spec. Its niche seems a bit confused. On the one hand, it’s a very heavy street fighter with ridiculous power. On the other, it’s not a touring or a true bagger like a heritage classic. While there are aftermarket solutions for screens and perhaps luggage, I think Triumph is blowing it in that respect. It could be more versatile. At least with the old Rocket you could hang as much luggage as you wanted on the rear end. They did it for you with the Touring.Maybe, but knowing the general impression I have of the fella, it's more likely to be that he's got the model wrong.
So, maybe it's just a different model than the Rocket that's in for the chop?.....Who knows...
I think you're assumption about the guy's general professionality is probably correct, but still, there could still be some truth in it.......
