How would you rate the gearbox on 2.5L Rocket?

What difference does that make?
I think what you might be eluding to is that if you went to the financial cost of buying it as an extra, you might well need to convince everyone that you spent your money well ?
Just guessing....

In answer to your first question......I do use it sometimes, but all I have stated is that my gear change is extremely quick/slick and smooth so I can change gear easily fast enough without using the quick shifter.

No not like that whatsoever Jagster. The quick shifter was on the bike already when I got it, (2nd hand) else I probably wouldn't have sprung for it (never having used one prior) but now it's there & I use it all the time & I'm happy with it.

I don't dislike my quick shifter either. It works well.
I was just trying to describe my experience with the gearbox in general, which you know from my previous posts is very positive.
