Paul Bryant full system for 2.5 R3

Paul is sponsoring the Bonneville run so I don't want to say a price as I don't know if that is what everyone will pay or not. They are not cheap. He had a week off so there was a small lag in the production of the pipe. There is still some back and forth while we get things right.

Here are some of the latest pictures, they are still in the fabrication state and not coated so not how they are going to look in the finished product. You are looking at the heat shields over the top of the header pipes.

I'm liking the lines from your tease shots. It appears there's going to be a proper collector for a full venturi effect. Looks very good.
You get what you pay for. If it works properly and looks good it will be worth spending proportionate money and I'll be in.
 
Once the pipes come in it will get time on the dyno so I will have final numbers which I can share with everyone. These are going to require dyno time to come up with a tune to get the most out of them and make them run right. Paul used to supply a tune but because of being really far from a lot of geographies and fuel differences, there were a ton of headaches in supporting the tunes.
 
I believe @Nashvegas has some big numbers and a well tuned bike and is also getting a set from Paul. Let see what these tuners can do! Cant wait to see some dyno charts to go up.
Kevin we will need a significant boost of power to push the top speeds up 10 mph over last year. The blown record on a Triumph in the 3000cc class is 161.882 mph. We aren't going to have the same power as a supercharger as the blown Triumph. It hard to imagine getting ten more mph with just an exhaust and tune.
If the tune picks up 15 to 20 horsepower and more torque over last year AND the salt is decent we should realistically improve our top speed average 5 maybe 7 mph.
Personally I know the rider will be crazy enough to push it hard.....as long as the front end is stable. 😄😄
 
The pipes are finished but NOT coated yet so they are not how they are going to look when we put them on the bike.

I'm liking that. The way the headers flow into a collector looks much more efficient as well as more aesthetically pleasing. I can't see heat being a problem with those full heat shields, especially with no cat reducing flow.
I wonder if Paul will offer them uncoated as an option? Ordering uncoated reduces lead time and I like the idea of polishing an exhaust first and seeing how it colours up before opting for coating. I also think it would look great with the exhaust coated but the shields polished.
Can't wait for it to reach full production. I will be putting an order in.
 
I have little doubt that the gas flow will be much improved compared to the stock system......and the majority (if not, all) of the aftermarket systems currently available.

It looks good proportionally.....balanced looking......with some shape to it.....not too long.....ok so far...

But still.........

I'm interested to see the system fitted to the bike.

For me, it needs to look good on the bike.
The Rocket is a powerful road bike. It's performance isn't lacking.
Of course it would be desirable to have more power, but with the weight and chassis dynamics that the Rocket has, the extra power is not useable on many road types, so in my opinion, more power is a secondary luxury as it's benefit is very limited without tackling the elephant in the room........weight and aerodynamics.

So....I don't want to sacrifice aesthetics for power that I can't fully exploit.

But if it looks good, i'm in....

Looks promising.
