Carpenter 210+ VS 240+ on the street

Many a year ago when I had my Honda V-65, my crazy friend Lawrence also had one. He used to shop for tires in the dumpster behind the Honda shop. They had thrown out 5 or 6 tires made by "Turbo" that looked almost new. He put one on his 65'. Didn't take long to figure out why they were in there. No grip at all. However they would smoke and make a real cool squeal with little provocation. He could easily bust them loose at 70 mph. You'd a though he was riding a nitro drag bike. I used to offer to buy the beer If I take his bike to the store ! It was fun getting up next to cars and just blowing away the back tire with the associated smoke and noise. Ah, the good ole' daze !

My LED tach display that runs off the auto-tune module for PCV has shown as high as 9200 rpm when the rev limiter kicked in, not sure I understand your question , nor the black lines following part.

Ahh, burning rubber, came to me after I posted.
I'm not so sure being on the limiter is a good idea but I hit it cos I'm busy keeping the bike straight while the ass end tries to climb out from under me . Whilst riding with my hardly mates recently, I wound her up and left wot I think was a 200ft

black line and a pale of blueish smoke following me. Later my mates said " your FCKD "and stared at my Rocket in awe
