Yeah mate piece of piss job , I replace mine with shorty levers and would never go back to OEM ones

Thanks Wrecka...was looking at those aftermarket levers...I may go that route. Still cant believe I pulled such a bone-headed move!

piece of cake...takes about 1min if you alreay have your socket set handy

Glad you're unscathed! Slow speed maneuvers are silent bike trippers. hopefully the shifter isn't damaged! The clutch lever is quick and easy, that shifter might not be!

It's these moments we learn from . Glad your ok .bike can be fixed easy enough . I remember riding up mt Tamborine with a mate of mine back when I had my little Honda shadow 750 . I chucked a uey and hit some loose gravel bike went down and trapped my leg under it in the middle of the road on a blind corner . For the life of me I couldn't get my leg out but lucky my mates pillion seen what happened so they came back and got me out of there . A few seconds after getting up off of the road a car came flying through that bend . I definitely take more care since then

I hear tell that a proper u-turn involves smoking the rear tire. Evidently it is safer and the turn is much tighter... Just saying.

Glad you are okay and as said the bike sounds like it can be repaired quick and soon, now back to the wee fall you took, did you touch the front brake while trying your u turn? did you turn your head while trying your u turn? the rocket is a big but not to heavy bike the rear wheel is not designed for slow speed turns but that being said practice practice practice and you will get them down remember it is easy to go fast on a bike the slow speed maneavers take a wee bit more thinking, no blame what so ever on the car driver he was just doing what you were doing.
