Came off the Roadster about an hour ago...

Yep I would say there are quite a few of us Roadster owners that have a clutch lever like that I know I do too.

My crash (down on left side in left hand twisty) in August of 2013 ruined my left leg and ankle but the clutch lever surprisingly survived intact! Go figure?
Sure would have preferred to replace the lever and keep all the plates and screws out of my leg!

Well, as the saying goes, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. Hardware can always be repaired or replaced.

Detach cable from the top, attach it to a screwdriver in some way, pull on the screwdriver to actuate the clutch lever?

Glad your ok, we had another fatality here in my old home town neighborhood last week.I put over 100 miles a day on my truck going to and from job sites, i see things out there that would give riders nightmeres. I'm probably going to pick up some flack for singling out and saying this but i noticed young woman drivers here are the worst. I don't think they fathom the word caution, i see them on their cell phones gabbing up a storm speeding down the road everyday. Be cautious life can change in the blink of an eye.

I think it's a universal problem, women, men, you name it. Hell, even motorcyclists... everyone who rocks a Sena or what have you and talks to the wife or makes phone calls while riding is just as distracted as any car driver who talks on the phone. It's not the holding of the phone that's the problem, it's splitting your attention between traffic and talking.

Though that said, I think women care far less about driving in general, to them it's exclusively a way to get from point A to point B, so many women are just worse drivers in general, most likely.

Texting, obviously, is a whole different level of the problem, but just talking is also an issue. It will lead directly to higher reflex times, so if you're babbling away, you'll take longer to take evasive action in a crisis.

While test driving today passed a tow truck with a mashed black Kawasaki (guessing, not too easy to identify). No idea how the rider faired but the bike looked like a write off, do doubt he walked away.
