I like to have fun just as much as anyone on here and I love sharing stories of achievements, especially where it involves some type of skill or humour or innovation. Pride in our rides is universal and applauded. Recounting a story about blasting past a Honda Fury is only moderately more interesting and impressive than say, dragging off a GS500. You and the OP have chosen to get yourselves all worked up over a comment and opinion you didn't agree with. You're the ones who need to get lives.

Well I am here to get advice on mods, hear some good stories and meet some good people. I love being an American, I love guns, and I love motorcycles of all types. This R3R I just happen to love more than some of the others I have owned. I also believe in American Exceptional-ism, I hate our current crop of useless liberal leaders in the White House. I am disappointed that there are folks that think my story is a bash on any other bike. It was a story about some smug guy that wanted to show off in front of another bike. I just took him to task and he got mad and took his bike and went home. I think that was hilarious and I shared it. One not some had something negative to say about that story. And considering i am on a pro Rocket forum that just blows me away that some doesn't like to be proud of their motorcycle and thinks others shouldn't be either. But if you didn't want to get into you shouldn't have. I suppose you guys are a lot like American liberals and think that everyone deserves a first place ribbon regardless of their efforts and overall level of success. Have a nice day, I am off to hunt some bad ass biker types with my Exceptional Triumph Rocket III Roadster. And if you and your buddy don't like that, you can kiss my American Ass.
I suppose we are like American liberals then if you are a shining example of an "American". So you out smugged another smug guy on a non-American (British) motorcycle. So what.

Ok so to hijack this hijack.......some old bloke who cant ride a bike due to an imbalance of fluid in his eardrums (or something like that) asked me at the Robertson Pie Shop, "**** man what is that?"
I said its a Triumph (stating the bleeding obvious). He said nah mate what sort? I said its a Rocket. He said, Wow Rocket huh?
He was in his 80s and he demonstrated how how he couldn't stand straight without falling over unless he opens his stance and grounds himself. I had to hold him up.
So off he goes and hops into a fully worked falcon coupe XC or something (not a Ford fan). Off he went engine blurting with anger.

All this conversation would never have occurred if it wasnt for the Rocket. Love my Rocket.

Now lets get back on track gentleman.

Forgive if i'm stating a well known point, but in SoCAl, in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu is Mulholland Hwy and the infamous Rock Store. I live near it and visit occasionally on the weekend and this is THE place to see and be seen, Jay Leno and other Celeb riders are frequent visitors.
Anyway, all bikes are represented there and many are really one-off customs that attract deserved attention. My rocket had 4 guys wonder up to it as I parked and it's stock, no mods to marvel at, just the bike. No non-custom bike gets that there.

I am not a liberal douche bag. And I cant understand why you and the other nitwit have an issue with me. I don't really give a F==K. You and your ass turd friend need to PM me if you want to continue this volley of disrespect. No more hijacking a good thread. In other words SHUT THE F__K UP!

I know it well and you are correct. All the bikes and cars are heavily moded to drive at any high rate of speed up the hill. But with that said if you are going to tell a story about how you douched any other brand of bike be careful, the politically correct nazis are here to correct and criticise your every word.

I seriously think, wait scratch that: Know you are a douche bag! Please try not to have any more correspondence with me, at all if you could.I try to keep the trailer trash at an arms length.

my last four mailing addresses were Ramadi, Baghdad, Kandahar, and Reno. I'll suffer the slings and arrows if I mis-speak. *yellow happy face*

Hey, I never said anything about you or your initial comments about why you love your Rocket, Canberra did.

All I did was point out what seemed to be a minor culture clash in the way we see things, just to ease the conversation a bit. You have taken exceptional personal offense and think that I "have some issue with you". I don't. Read everything I have said. You, sir are the one getting all worked up and name calling, not me.

I am starting to think it is entirely possible you are a bit too emotional and sensitive to
a) be in possession of a deadly weapon
b) be in possession of a deadly motorcycle

Chill out dude.

I ran into a guy at a light yesterday. He was on an all blacked out Fury. When I pulled up along side of him he said, Oh a Triumph huh? I said "YUP" a fury Huh? He said "Yes and I just put new pipes on it" twisted his throttle to let me hear how loud it was. I said nice I like your front wheel, he said "Its a 21 inch pretty cool right?" I said sure and smiled. The light turned green and he ripped it in first gear, I laughed for a second and let the clutch lever go, twisted the throttle about 1/3 and scared the S++t out of that guy. Got to the next stop sign and then, He says "WTF is that thing?" I said its a Triumph Huh! He said "WTF size engine is that?" I said its 140 cubic inches, whats your like 80 cubic inch or something? He gave me the finger and turned left. HA HA HA HA HA (evil laugh)!!!!!! I LOVE MY FU++ING ROCKET!!!!!
