Would she get on yours?

I've grown to hate the cold since I retired, in one week I'm officially a permanent Floridian, my house in NY is on the market, but I'm not waiting around for it to sell, you can do the closing all online now, my feet shall never touch snow again.
You’re so lucky. Wish I could move to Florida, or Texas. I’d even take California at this point. Be my last choice though.

When I bought my first bike in 1999 yeah I rode in some pretty chilly weather. Even at night, all over the place. Nothing like what you guys do though. When I bought this VN2000 in 2005, that all changed. I just wasn’t into bundling all up to go for a ride. I prefer nothing but jeans n a T shirt. This bike has never once been rain ridden. Neither will my R3r.
We don’t like rain or cold but if you ride as much as we do you will see both. I won’t leave the house if it is raining but if I’m caught out in it I will have to come back home. Well long touring trip are planned for the driest of seasons but stuff happens.

Stuff absolutely happens. To most. I don’t tour. Never have. N my back problems keep me close to home. Add to that a sore arse syndrome the likes of which you’d not believe, well planned out weather rides, and I keep my ride clean n shined all the time. This R3r is a bit of a nightmare. No chrome, tons of nooks n crannies, mat black everywhere. And this brushed metal is impossible to clean. I can’t even imagine who would want the ALL MAT BLACK models??? That’s cray cray man🤪.

Mine get cleaned after every ride. We are anal about keeping the bikes in great condition. My biggest issue with riding in the rain is the post ride bike clean up.🤪😭

Look at these wheels on my 2014 Roadster.:whitstling:

I’m not sure I like the cleaning but a shiny clean perfect looking bike is a joy to behold and ride.
A week before I insure my bike for our 🙄 half year season. I go to analistic lengths to gleam it up. (Talking my VN2000). It’s 16 years old now. Every summer I get at least one dude who asks if it’s a new bike. Now I have the R3r too. Much easier to keep it clean if you don’t rain ride. Lot of my buddies think that’s sacrilegious. It’s not that I don’t love riding. I clearly do. Work injuries have just made it hard. So when I can ride, it may as well be in the sunshine 🌞.
