Winter is almost upon us. Time to put the Rocket to sleep

It's coming! I ride until the first salt truck hits the road then it is a long winter hibernation. I have several bikes to work on to keep me busy but it isn't the same as riding

Same here, as soon as that first spray of salt goes in Bertha gets tucked away till March

I'll give her a full service including checking the valve shims. I've bought some polishing wheels for the drill, I'll get her jacked up and the wheels off and sort them out

I'm toying around with the idea of getting some gear to ride her through the season. Denver is notorious for crazy weather and temp swings, so there's probably going to be a good riding day 2-3 times a month.

Anyone else very close to the point where its time to put the Rocket to hibernate?

It's getting dark very early these days, along with the constant wind and dark clouds... snow is coming soon. I fear I may have only a few days of riding left and then no more bike till April or May.

I hate where I live sometimes.
