What's your reccomended eyewear?

I just close my eyes so I don't see who I'm running over :D:D
But seriously I normally wear safety hlaglas that I use for work

I have three Stihl Chainsaws I use in my business ,the Stihl dealer has some pretty sturdy and shatter proof glasses for sale. There are a pair of rap around that fit tight that i like. I figure your eyes are in more danger with a chainsaw than in the wind...;)

I had a set of Wiley X glasses when deployed and they had enough life in them yet when I came home to ride with. Loved them. That was years ago though and I’m not sure they are still available

I really don't want to admit this, but I bought a pair of Motorcycle Glasses at Walmart.

They are normally back in the automotive parts area.

They are great. Padded and good sun protection. The ones I got have are a gold color.

I think they were under $15.00

Wiley X Polarized Sunglasses Take your pick. Always go for Polarized where possible.

For the sensible "wussy" chin loving amongst us. You can of course wear an off road "style" lid and glasses or goggles. A lot of the Dual Road lids come prepared for this eventuality. And as they also give more chin/helmet clearance - well - more breeze for a start. I am now in the wussy brigade - but the dual road lid thing is starting to attract my attention.

My experience of wearing "sunglasses" is not positive.
I always seem to end up with some wind current eddies behind the lenses somewhere.
This dries out your eyes PDQ if you are at all familiar with the twisty thing on the right side of the steering pole thingy.
Can also suck in insects. Even the foam edged ones have to be pulled back against the face and most will not without a strap which is a swine to use with a lid. Off road goggles are a different matter.

Cheap work eye shields would still be my recommendation if you must. Clear pair for night (Or yellow if you are so inclined) and dark grey/green/brown for sunlight.
